For fresh, local and seasonal food, dine out at the Bell Hotel's The Old Dining Room with its restaurant, conservatory, bar and terrace. Our head chef and his team create menus based on British recipes with a little twist of something new. The bar, restaurant and event menus will appeal to customers who like the freshest foods simply cooked to bring out their fullest natural flavours.
The drinks list includes wines carefully chosen from the major regions of Europe, South America, South Africa, Australasia and always features award winning still and sparkling wines from our own region of Britain. Local beers, ciders and soft drinks are a prominent part of our list.
Our restaurant, conservatory, bar and terrace have recently all been refurbished and diners can enjoy a splendid mix of the old and the new. The clean lines, honey-coloured oak flooring, contemporary dining tables and chairs, the use of Farrow and Ball paints, and walls as exhibition space for photographers and artists make for relaxed and informal dining.
